Chance me and Ill chance back!

@UvaLee The fact that you have 3 recommendations and that you go to GW will definitely help, but I think your GPA from first semester is too low. I think your best bet is to hope to get waitlisted, so that way you can send in your second semester grades and hope they’ll push you into the accepted category. Hopefully you have strong essays, are you currently a freshman or sophomore?

@ag1994 I have strong essays and I am currently a Freshman at GWU.
I am also instate if that makes a difference…I have great extracurriculars but like you said…my first semester was too low unfortunately and my best bet is for them to wait list me so that I can send in my 2nd semester which will average things out hopefully.

Does anyone else find the whole concept of “chance me and I’ll chance back” extremely strange…? If you can’t gauge where you stand as an applicant why would you be qualified to gauge where others stand…

But to each his own I suppose.

On a different note, we’re almost there guys!

What do you all have in mind for housing next year if you get in? I’d love to live in an apartment off-grounds but I feel like there won’t be many openings at this point.

Good luck everyone!

We live in C’ville. So, I will probably be able to help those of you who are looking for housing (off-grounds).

Is anyone thinking decisions will be released tomorrow???

I’m really, really hoping they do.

The transfer blog says decisions will be released May 1st. I wouldn’t get your hopes up too high for tomorrow We’re almost there though! 4 more days won’t kill us!

Does anyone know what time the decisions will be released? I’m assuming it’s coming out the 1st.

I think 5 pm? not sure though.

No decisions today; let’s hope for tomorrow.

I’m thinking we’re going to have to wait til Thursday.

Good luck to everyone! decisions will be posted tomorrow!

How do you know that, @wahoo123 ?
It hasn’t been posted anywhere by UVA. If you got it from a legitimate source please share. I’m not disagreeing with you about the release date but please don’t post rumors; it’s juvenile.

Sorry! On my account it says that the decisions will be available on May 1st!

One more thing, I am a transfer student! So it might be different for me

@wahoo123 bro everyone here is a transfer student

I can totally understand how the title “UVA Fall 2014 Transfer Thread” can be misleading.

TONIGHT IS THE NIGHT

Here is what is said on the UVA Transfer Blog!:
We’re excited and almost ready! Decisions will be released today after 5pm (EDT).

Tonight, you’ll receive an email making this announcement as well. Remember that in order to see your decision, you’ll have to go to your SIS account. You received an email with these instructions when you submitted, but I will detail them again below. All decisions will be posted online, but physical letters will only go out to admitted students.
