I received my green check very early on. I want to say late March/Early April. Nothing appeared on my To Do list this entire time. I have been checking SIS once a day. I checked right now, 10:30 PM PST and I now have a new item for my To Do List for Financial Aid.

I don’t know what this means but hoping they will release decisions soon!

hope international students also get some type of to-do’s
i think financial aid that is due june 1 or something means a lot but we don’t know anything until the decisions come out
so painful to wait for it with no hints sucks

SolarPowered: I’ve heard SEAS has higher acceptance rates, but those might be due to self-selection.

I applied SEAS. Got the check about 3 weeks ago. I’ve got 1 semester done at a top-5 engineering school. Applied from systems E at this OOS school to systems E at UVa in-state, 3.4 GPA.

High school: 2090 SAT, 3.7 GPA, what I considered to be goo EC’s and essays, but they denied me last year.

I have no to-do’s, but I didn’t applied for financial aid, so I don’t know if I would get them anyhow.

Hey guys.
I received the check last week sometime. Doesn’t think it means much in regards to admitted/not admitted. I know a couple who were more academically, “qualified,” than others that I know and didn’t get in. Yet some of the lesser qualified still got admitted. Just for reference here’s my stats. Nothing stellar.
HS GPA: 3.2
SAT: 1640
EC: Varsity football team captain, track team member, and a lot of community service.
College: University of Pittsburgh- Main Campus
College GPA: 3.67
Major: Economics
EC: Work-Study, Tutoring, 2 Community service organizations member, RCMBA (Business organization)

Nice to see other students on here applying to the school of engineering. My stats are listed early on. I have the green check and also have undergraduate engineering next to it. I doubt it means much. I wish both of you the best of luck getting in!

I still have green mark. Im from out of state and also international student… :(. But im stuying in us for 8 years. Is thay effect my green mark? Please give me green check. :(. I may got reject it

A green check only means that they have reached a decision on your application - accept / denied/ waitlist. At this point, almost everyone has green checks. Decisions should be released in a week.

who has a check/ has a circle? and any other to-do’s? has anyone looked at previous transfer threads for hints on what they mean? (if they mean anything)

@pzzia777: I don’t think there’s any need for you to be concerned right now. From what I have read (and I’ve read a lot about this) having a green circle means that they haven’t yet made a decision on your application.
