@usug21 where is there a link for intended major. It lists my son’s major as chemical engineering but it is not a link

@jjmama click on the registration button on the extreme left of unofficial transcript. It will take u to intended major
when i look at myuw i have a tab that says “after being admitted, seattle” but my unoffical transcript is for uw tacoma…when i checked last night it said “after being admitted, tacoma” and it changed to seattle this morning but my transcript didn’t change…this happen to anyone else?
@usug21 his doesn’t say “intended major” anywhere. It just lists a “Major:” but it doesn’t say Intended Major anywhere. I’m thinking because he is a direct admit?

just called UW a minute ago. they said unofficial transcript doesn’t guarantee any deny/admission, although probably the “confirm enrollment” link is a good sign. to those of you who haven’t gotten their unofficial transcript yet, don’t fret!

My unofficial transcript is showing up but “Pre-Engineering” is my indicated major…
I assume that means I didn’t get in directly? In which case, there is no guarantee I would even be able to study what I’m interested in studying, correct?
Anybody able to weigh on this? UW has an awesome CSE department, but I really don’t want to end up somewhere where I’ll be freaking out trying to get into my major.
If my suspicions are correct, it looks like UW is gonna be a no for me

@cibaract From what I’ve read, as long as you maintain a 3.5 GPA or higher during your freshman year, you have a decent shot at the CS program when you apply for it after your freshman year.
If my unofficial transcript says Aero and Astro, does that mean direct admit?
What does it mean when it says “You dont have any offers of admission to be confirmed”? Am I denied??
My transcript still hasn’t loaded. It is worrying me that mine and others hasn’t loaded while SO many people were able to confirm their admission.
@craad98 thats what mine says. if your transcript hasnt loaded then that means they havent put in your decision yet. hopefully our transcripts will load and once they do, thats when people are getting their acceptances.
@luna4151 @cy2135 I just contacted the admissions office this morning and explained my situation to them. I only clicked the cancel button and didn’t agree to denying their offer for admission and apparently they’ve been getting calls all morning about this issue. It’s a technical error and they’re currently in the process of trying to fix this situation!

@Carlynn2017 thank you! I’m from Georgia and I’m not 100% clear on what exactly the transcript is? Is it your high school transcript or something different?
