Is there anyway or indications that we might be able to know early? Like through unofficial transcript or? I was a pretty good student in my high school
Freshmen year was : 3.7
Sophomore & junior was a little drop because my father has died through cancer and my grandma had also passed away.
My SAT scores weren’t the best either… 980/1600…
I did rigorous running start classes… not sure if I’ll get in tho… due to my low scores, etc. it causes me to feel like I wouldn’t be acceapted
anyone get the STARS email?
I did @gillibeean
@math3matical @gillibeean can I ask what STARS is?
State academic red shirts
Does anyone know if it’s harder to get in Premed?
When will our admission decisions be available at the MyUW portal?
They will be releasing decisions between March 15 & March 31.
Does anybody know the UW email address for sending application updates?
I wrote on my application that I would be taking 7 AP exams but now I will be taking only 5. And I won an FBLA awad yesterday.
@Nimisha99 Check this list on this page to see if they will accept your changes… if so, use the contact link on the page. If not, sorry but don’t bother–they won’t accept. http://admit.washington.edu/apply/applied
What is the message that everyone sees on MY UW when they log in?
@Mnoor17 mine says this: Thank you for applying to the University of Washington! Because you have submitted an application for admission to one or more UW campuses and/or undergraduate programs, some information about your application and other services are now available to you through this MyUW portal.
@Mnoor17 “Thank You for applying for admission to the University of Washington. Because you submitted one or more…” just the general statement. It lets me click the link under that message which shows my application and it says “We will notify you by postal when a decision has been made on your application.”
Chance me?
I applied for CS
Superscore ACT: 34 (35 E, 35M, 33R, 32S)
Gpa: ~ 3.51 unweighted at a very hard public school. Grades were heavily affected due to an injury. I recovered and got a 4.5 weighted gpa this semester on my mid year report… so my gpa now is 3.61 unweighted and ~3.9 weighted.
Essays: Very strong in my opinion
Out of state from CA (SoCal)
Is there any way I would also be considered for the purple and gold scholarship? Thanks.
So we won’t be receiving our decisions online? @prayersforUW
@Nimisha99 I’ve heard that they update that the same day they send out your letter.
Does anyone know if there is an order to sending out letters? Is it random or based on when they are done? Also is there a chance that some people will get them early? I haven’t heard about that happening too much at UW but I thought someone might know if it’s a possibility.
@kiaigirl As far as I know, they don’t have rolling or early admissions. Generally, everyone who gets accepted into the school would all get an email at the same time. Mail would then most likely be sent out according to either alphabetical order or the order they read your application. You might get the mail earlier or later depending on where you live as well.
Are acceptance letters and rejection letters sent out at the same time? or are acceptance letters sent first and then rejection letters?
According to the admissions statement, decisions will be released on a rolling basis between a march 15 and march 31. This is posted on their site.
