I would be it will be this Friday then…exciting
It could just be a coincidence, but March 9 was a Friday last year. Next Friday is the 8th. So, if they are shooting for a Friday, which schools seem to do, I’m hoping for no later than next Friday for the waves to start. Good luck everyone!
When logged in can anyone else see “next steps for admitted students” under “If Admitted” then click “Accept the Offer and Pay the new student enrollment and orientation fee?” Then it says “Confirm and Pay” and then Begin Confirmation for me. Anyone else have this?
yeah, but i think those are common tabs
Yeah but when I’m logged in it actually lets me begin confirmation (I think I’m too scared to accidentally confirm to go even further than I actually have)
@godawgswoohoo Yes. It was there since January
.
@TOAOMC Thank you but you never know what the schools are looking for. She applied to U of Mich EA and was deferred. The good news is all of this part of the process will be over soon and we start prepping to actually GO to college.
Hi, My D is out of state and she applied also pre-med neuroscience with act 34 and sat 1550. she had lots of ap credits as well. I am wondering what her chances are… online it says UW acceptance is 45% but on the email they sent it says over 45000 applications and they have a freshman class of 4500 ish. So does that mean their acceptance rate is really 10%-ish
It doesn’t quite translate that way. You also need to factor in the yield - how many kids who get accepted actually end up enrolling?
From the info on their common data set, last year 45K applied, 21K accepted, and 6600 enrolled. So their acceptance rate is in the 40% range and their “yield” is in the 35% range.

1310 SAT 3.37 unweighted no APs please chance me X_X
@rowerboi what’s your major?
1280 SAT, 3.95 weighted(or 6 out of 7), 3 IB courses, 1 HL and 2 SLs. Please chance me… Statistics major.
Please chance me and I am
International student.
1530 SAT, full IB diploma (38 out of 45). School does not calculate GPA but it is apparently 4.13 weighted and 3.65 unweighted. I am full pay and did not apply for any financial aid. I applied for an Economics major.
Can someone pls chance me as well? 1510 SAT, 34 ACT, 97 W GPA (out of 100), 93 UW, 5 APs (Statistics, Bio, Calc BC, Psych, Eng Lang) with rest honors, OOS. I applied for pre health
I asked the admissions counselor and UW doesn’t accept people by major. The major really doesn’t play a role on basic acceptance into the college.
please chance me!
