I kind of went through the whole thread, and it seems like not many people heard back from CAS yet except few?
Im REALLY expecting to hear from them tomorrow, my application was completed around March 8th…
also what time tomorrow are they going to announce?

What time do they come out on Mondays?
It seemed like people got decisions around 10am(EST). I am worried that I wouldn’t get a decision because engineering seems to hear the latest.

I applied to CAS for mathematics.
Stats…nothing super special but:
Oregon State Univ.
Math major/ actuarial sci minor
3.86 gpa (89 ish credits- though we do trimester, so it;s like 60 credits actually for semester schools, major gpa 3.95.)
A’s on all math courses except one B-.
Highest math course taken: Advanced calculus(proof class)/ Linear Alebra.
home schooled( got GED / never took SAT/ACT)
First generation/ low income family/
working as a Resident Assistant on campus
worked as a full time math substitute in a public school district
lots of volunteering experiences(all involving math somehow)
REALLY personal/nice recommendations from math instructors who’ve taught me more than one course
uh, this is pretty much it. I applied to Grinnell, Cornell, Emory, and Notre Dame also.

Accepted, but I don’t see any financial aid in my cost of attendance and I only have until next Monday to respond. Anyone have advice on what I should do?

also, im accepting but it says that I’m a member of the class of 2019??? how is that possible? or is that just because they haven’t accepted any of my previous credits yet, because i have a LOT of AP’s and what not

Knowing that Vandy is announcing on rolling basis… when was your application completed??
If your application was completed around/after mine and I havent heard back, then I guess my chances are really low now
I checked myappVU about 25 times today and the 26th time was the charm! Accepted to CAS for psych!
