Also, I am also an engineering major who haven’t heard anything yet.
I was wait listed today, which is really cool because I thought I would be rejected and I am finding out from a little research that there is a legit chance to get in and that it isn’t just a token (which would be cool too because it means I have a good shot elsewhere).
Anyway I believe that I have already accepted the position. Does anyone have more information on like wait list admittance rates or something? I noticed one or two people have been wait listed. Or notification dates? It said somewhere that it could be as late as mid-July, but somehow I feel it will be earlier.

@bauegr01 I was waitlisted last year and the list was closed/:. Thats why im reapplying, cuz now I have improved my stats a lot more so i might have a better chance. I still havent heard anything which really makes me nervous/; When was your application completed???

Extra Curricular Activities: Club Lacrosse, BPI energy auditor and building analyst, Dayaway Careers (employee).
Highschool GPA: 3.7
ACT: not good
Courses: IB Diploma student (3 HL’s and 2 SL’s) and took AP stats.
Extra Curricular Activities: 4x Varsity Wrestling/ Lacrosse ( captan for both senior year), JV football freshmen/ sophomore year, participated in Jazz Band, 2nd degree black belt in 5 different martial arts/ martial arts instructor, BPI Energy Auditor and Building Analyst, American Cancer Society club. In the summer of my senior year I ran my own landscaping business for a summer job. Taught martial arts as service in the summer of my junior year (50 hours).
I have 2 older siblings who have gone to Vandy. One has already graduated and another is a current junior.
I applied to vandy as undergrad and I only applied to vandy to transfer, so I believe that may have helped me out with the admissions process.

@marianna0725 mine was completed on March 2nd. I feel your pain because I was frustrated that people were getting in before me who submitted their apps after me. And @qlrp2012 I was definitely notified after some of the people who got in around 10am. I checked myappVu when they said they got in, and I didnt get anything, but around 11 or 11:15 I got in, so my decision came later than them.
Admitted to CAS. Just got the email at 5:23pm. Good luck for those who are still waiting. And congratulations to all of those who have been accepted.

@DSquared57 who was the one engineer excepted? I don’t remember seeing anyone.
@marianna0725 My application was completed around March 25 (due to some issues with Vandy’s Office of Admissions) but I applied as a sociology major. One of the reasons I am leaving my current school is because of the lack of programs, so that may change once I am able to experience other courses.
@Andrewchen48 was accepted for chemical.
Accepted into CAS econ earlier today as a rising sophomore. Stats are 3.86 GPA at a top 30 university, lots of involvement. App was submitted on March 8th. Congrats everyone else who got good news today and last monday, and best of luck to those who are still waiting to hear.
