My application was completed on the 12th but everything was not received until like the 25th. When you say the list was closed, do you mean nobody got in? I read somewhere that 8% of the student body came off the wait list at one point so that would really surprise me?

if my application was done except that my college report was not received until April 13th… when do you guys think that I will hear back? I’m pretty nervous that the class will fill up before they review my application :-S
Emailed my admissions counselor yesterday inquiring to when my application decision would be posted (I applied to engineering) and here was his response.

I’m at Carnegie Mellon studying environmental engineering. Looking at doing the same thing at Vanderbilt.

I don’t want to be disappointing, but judging from last year’s enrolling process, decision comes out in May were generally rejections, so I guess I should be prepared.

According to last year, if you don’t hear by the 25th, your chances of getting in dramatically diminishes. I haven’t heard back so I think I was either waitlisted or rejected. Its all good though, I got into UNC and I’m waiting to hear back from 5 other colleges so I’m not super bummed out.

I imagine a majority of the engineering decisions will be released on this upcoming Monday.
@treeel where/how did you find that out? Vandy announces every monday starting the first week of April on rolling basis(usually). Can you explain that trend more?
@marianna0725 I think he’s going by last year where they announced on Fridays. I’m sure the final day of majority acceptances will be this upcoming Monday — but who knows?
Why does Vandy do this to us?! Can’t they just release it all on one day. The dean of admissions probably scrolls through this thread loling =p

i put down my deposit. has anyone who put down their deposit got their VU email/username yet? I still haven’t heard back yet and I’m paranoid that it didn’t go through or something…
@gyuanyu I paid my deposit over a week ago. I believe the email will arrive after the deposit deadline (27th).
Wait what’s the deadline of paying deposit? Mine is May.4th.
