Ok, I did a little research because Guy got me interested. If you take a look at last years Vanderbilt transfer thread the first posted rejection is by Amandarin on page 63 the date was 4-23-11. The previous week the posts were only of ecstatic little transfers. But here is the kicker, on the next page (64) theclassof2013 posts that he/she gets accepted on the same date-- 4-23-11; these two students were in the “1st batch”. So, we can extrapolate that last year acceptances and rejects are all sent out at the same time at Vandy. For further proof look at page 72, crownofthesea was rejected as well. If they follow the same scheme, they do not send rejections last. Furthermore, it is obvious that those who are accepted will be much more willing to post the results than those rejected. So you will have more acceptance posts than rejected posts regardless. I have no idea why I am looking into this so much. I guess it is just tension.
Note*- last years # of posts were 3x larger than ours by this time last year. This could be good news, signifying a smaller transfer class. Again, I am looking way too much into things. lol

No problem Guy. You can also note that there were a lot of waitlisted applicants last year, and supposedly they accept many of the waitlisted (according to one of the posters last year). Nobody fret yet.

We have received all of your documents and your application is complete. Transfer decisions will be sent out on a rolling basis through the month of May.

Best,
Michael-

Since some people got admitted so early, I’m not really optimistic if my decision will be sent out through May T T I submitted the app before the priority deadline and it’s very likely that Vanderbilt does not use rolling. Maybe they do release good news to strong appicants first.

I am getting increasingly worried because I called admissions earlier in the week and my decision hadn’t been mailed yet…I am currently a sophomore 3.9 GPA from a top 30 LAC.

Still waiting for a letter here in MA… My counselor said I could contact her next week if I hadn’t heard yet. Congrats to all who have been accepted so far!
