Here’s a direct quotation from the website: “Vanderbilt reserves the right both to be need-aware and to create a waiting list for transfer applicants.”

I dont think it does. my EFC is really low as well and i was accepted. I was worried about the “need-aware” comment as well. I’ve read other places on vandy’s website that they are “need-blind” so i’m not sure what it all means

I’m nervous because I’m in MA and I haven’t received a letter yet! I wonder if it’s because my mail comes at 10am? Who knows…

Congratulations to everyone who got in, and good luck to those who have yet to hear back!

and i called finaid today and they said i should be getting my financial aid statement soon because they are notified as the letters are sent i guess.

That’s a great idea, transfermeow! My daughter finally got on here today, because I told her that’s where I got all my information, but I think a FB groups would be a great way to meet people before orientation!

Did others have their financial aid info included with their acceptances? My mom called me and told me what Vandy had offered in terms of aid and it was less than I had hoped for. Is that different from the actual aid statement? transfermenow, I’m asking in regards to your last message about financial aid :)

I was not home (im at college in DC, my home is in KC). my dad said that nothing regarding financial aid was in the package. I called finaid and they told me i should be getting it soon. so, i would presume that is the same as the financial aid offering you received.

I’ll make a fb page. all those accepted should go join

I got on the wait list! I am actually pretty excited about this coming from community college and being 27 years old (Vanderbilt is mostly under 24 y/o for undergrad).

I got the letter today and am located in California.
