Geez. New information every time I come on here. Well, I guess if I’m lucky, I’ll hear something Monday. If nobody has been on here with results yet, I doubt they were mailed Weds.

Well, I guess that we’ll find out today if they did mail Wed. since it would take at least 2-3 days (Wed-Fri/Sat) for people to receive it unless they live in Nashville or even TN.

I asked on the Vanderbilt Blog today, as well, on the Transfer FAQ post. I think it was from a year or two ago, but Ryan answered back that the decisions start going out today and on a rolling basis going forward.

So hopefully Monday for most of us then!

Or Tuesday, depending on how far away you live. I think first-class mail is guaranteed to arrive in three days or less, but Sundays do not count, so some people may receive decisions on Tuesday.

I know for regular decision they mailed large envelops with packets for those who got accepted, but those who got wait listed or denied got regular letter sized enveolps. Anyone know if this is true for transfers? I would think it would be.

I did the USPS calculator thing and if Vandy ships out today by 5:00pm, then it’ll be Monday even for people as far as California, so I think that should cover pretty much the entire lower 48

At least they’re shipping them out today rather than waiting til Monday!!!

Thanks, that is good news! I was looking for the calculator on the USPS website, but I was only able to find a price estimator calculator. I could not find one that estimated delivery time.

im in boston, so im hoping the mail isnt getting delayed at all, but im sure it will be.

Gahhh, I hate how I was told wed and thursday they were mailing them out. But it looks to be official today… Guess we’re going to have to wait until monday to hear something… or possibly tomorrow although I’m not sure

You are right, I think it seems official this time. You may receive your mail tomorrow if you are close to Tennessee, but I am not sure.

I wonder why the counselors themselves would have such different information? You’d think that all of them would have access to the same information since admissions is typically centralized.

Don’t forget it’s rolling admissions, so not all of us will be getting a decision Monday. It could be longer.

The only thing that give me pause is that I’ve read more than once that they would announce on the blog when the first decisions were sent. I know they did it for regular admission and I think for the early ones, as well.

Yet, that could still post Monday…

I do know this. When you ask a question on a blog post, even one from a year or two ago, they answer very quickly. Ryan and a girl, can’t think of her name.

I don’t think they announce on their blog website when transfer decisions are mailed. I checked the Transfer section of the blog, and there was nothing posted for last year’s date when decisions were mailed.

Alright, well hopefully some people hear back today.

I know I’ve said this before, but just rip off the bandaid already. My permanent home address is where mine is going to be sent, which bugs me because I can’t take my small envelope into a dark room and pretend I never applied.

Got my acceptance today!!!

Congratulations! Do you live near Nashville (if you don’t mind me asking)?

vandyhopeful, do you mind sharing your stats?
