Official Vanderbilt University Fall 2014 Transfer Thread

In! Boom! CS and Econ major… Still no email though lol

Got rejected. No email.

Arrrrg. Waitlisted.

still nothing…

Waitlisted too

@swim4school‌ thanks! I’m really excited and looking forward to it. My financial aid was less than what I was expecting (they’re wanting me to pay around $13,000 a year even though my parents only make like ($63,000 a year) so I’m hoping my financial aid will be around $5,000 dollars more after I explain my situation and that I am paying for college all on my own. I’m confident that everything will work out though!

Nothing :frowning:

Another week of waiting it is

@jfcampos‌ @BB37240‌ When did you guys send in your applications?

ACCEPTED.

@TransferGirlSoph‌ I’ve heard nothing either :frowning: on the bright side, at least we weren’t rejected or waitlisted yet so maybe our apps our just still under review.

Got my application complete on March 15.

This is so frustrating!! Nothing yet either

ACCEPTED!!

Accepted! Finally!!!

Congrats you guys! stats?

@jaspebra001‌ @goodboy23 @Lyle76‌ Hey, when did you guys complete your application? I submitted mine on 3/15 and still waiting.

i submitted 2/28 and still haven’t heard

I submitted mine on 3/15. I am so happy for everyone accepted- hang in there if you have not heard. I am disappointed in being waitlisted. Does anyone have any stats on wait-list chances? I dont really want to accept that it is over for me. This is my dream school.

@Boneyboy I feel like I’m in exactly the same boat as you. While I’m grateful to have been offered a spot on the waitlist, I’m not looking forward to what could be several more months of waiting. I think there are no stats because the waitlist really depends on how many applications they receive, and how many accepted students decide to decline admission. Vanderbilt is my dream school too, and my first and only choice. I know that our chances are really slim, but there is still hope!

Congratulations to everyone else who was accepted!

I just got accepted but there’s no financial aid info…does that mean I didn’t get any? I emailed my counselor, but I’m worried I won’t be able to go without aid. I turned in the FAFSA stuff awhile ago but never did the CSS…

@ButlerUSNA‌, you need to fill out the CSS profile. It’s required, I’m pretty sure.
