Good question. I would call admissions and ask. Do you know if they superscored last year? If they didn’t then I bet those reported scores are single sitting composites.
I had to call Villanova for something else and asked if the ACT scores in their stats were superscored or composite and she said superscored. So that’s good news! Good luck to your daughter!
When are decisions supposed to come?
@class0f2017 online it says by January 1st, for last year it was December 16! So I’m assuming it will be around then this year too
I agree, I think it will be by the end of that week, so by the 16th, but I have nothing really to base that on other than what has been done in the past. But you never know things vary every year.
Yeah I saw the “by Jan 1st” but most schools that have a “by” date are usually a few weeks earlier.

@c011e9e 1. The location/everything about the campus. I remember when I visited and I walked up and down the main strip and I fell in love. Plus it’s close proximity to Philly for entertainment and job interests/internships. Also I love the business school reputation and it’s up swing (ranked number one, yay!). Finally I love the type of people at Villanova… it seems like everyone at Villanova was “that guy” or “that girl” in high school that got stuff done. Villanovans seem to take initiative beyond what’s expected of a typical college student and that’s something that’s personal and hard to quantify.

- When I visited for the second time in October I was in love. Just being on the campus made me so happy and I knew that Villanova was my number one.
Pretty sure I’ll be deferred to regular decision with my stats but I’ll be happy to try to wait it out haha. Good luck to all, and GO NOVA!
Current Villanova student … for everyone who’s scared about Villanova not having a good social atmosphere, it’s a college and college kids want to have fun and are going find a way to have fun. also there are many other schools in the area (Drexel, Penn, etc) to connect with other students and the city is 20 minutes away so I think villanofun should be the least of your worries if you’re considering coming here

Did anyone not get an email with information about the Villanova portal? I didn’t receive an email about setting up a portal and I’m debating whether I should call…
You were given access to a portal when you applied, weren’t you? The applicant status page? I think that’s how you will find out your decision. I don’t think there will be a new portal.
I called the admissions office and fixed my portal, thanks! Also the woman said that decisions will come out any time before Jan 1st…
I just opened me email and saw one from villa and I almost screamed… Only to see that it was just about to financial aid and it explicitly says it was sent to everyone that applied

Just looked at last years thread - they came out dec 16 at around 6 pm so next week we will hear maybe?
