I thought I was going to get in here no problem because I’m a legacy and have decent stats but looking at last years thread is making me so nervous! people with 32 act got deferred 
@mimimo7890 same!!! Villanova is my safety school in comparison to the other schools I have applied to but I’m seriously nervous I am going to get deferred at this point…
Does anyone know if financial aid package comes with EA decision? I realized I forgot to upload the documents to the college board financial aid request site even though the deadline is January 15.
Has anyone called and asked when we might be finding out?
aghhh im so nervous… I hope I get in. 33 ACT and a legacy but who knows with the huge influx of EA apps this year
Yeah can someone please call? I just got my first rejection so I’m totally freaking out now. We can thank Notre Dame for this sudden spike in nervousness

Do Alumni Relations (older brother attending) carry any weight for applicants who are close on admin stats?

It just says late December. Tentative admission decisions by January 1st.
I am an alum. My daughter and I went to an official Admissions session hosted at another alum’s home, and they said that “legacy” DOES help. They could not put a number to it, but said it is considered in more than just a “tie breaker” type of way.

@pmleko7222 according to others on this thread the general consensus/rumor/guess appears to be Friday the 16th solely based on Villanova’s history. To my knowledge there hasn’t been any official information released directly from Villanova but it seems like Friday is possible.
Last year it was Wednesday 12/16 and the year before that it was Thursday 12/18.
I’m hoping it’ll be earlier, but it’s likely Friday
