Oh my bad. Dec. 15 is for application results.
I didn't know about the Dec. 1 date though (:

what time do they usually email you the decision on 12/15????
AAAAHHHHH so EXCITEDD!!

I'm not. I think I got rejected.

Better to think negatively and be pleasantly surprised than be optimistic and get disappointed?
Maybe.

I don't know actually. I think it's bad luck to believe that u'll be rejected? Better not to think about it at all -- just like when u lend money out to people. When they return it to you, it almost feel like money just dropped from the sky. LOL.

Oh and they got back to me. They've not checked the files yet so they're not sure if it's in. Though it's alright if I fax it in again.

Has the notice for missing midyear & final grades disappeared from your status page too?

Mine has. I'm assuming that they made a mistake in putting that up. It should only show if you are accepted.

AHHH.
i'm torn between wanting to get ED results and not wanting to see them because i'm afraid i've been rejected.
some of my friends' colleges have emailed my counselor asking for quarter grades, etc. is this a good thing? has anyone been contacted by williams for such material?

Asking for quarter grades shows definite interest, so in that sense, it is a good thing. My D applied ED for a different school and her quarter grades showed a C+ in Calc; she was deferred. She brought that grade up and was accepted RD, so I guess they can cement the deal or raise questions in the Adcom's mind.

If they're good, they can only help.

My school sent quarter grades to Williams (I requested that they be sent because I was really happy with them).

So if Williams has not asked for quarter grades, is that a bad sign? Our son applied ED but as far as I know there has not been a request for his quarter grades.

akamom98

I haven't heard from Williams about quarter grades. I personally doubt they would ask for them unless they ask everyone.

I sent in mine because I was very pleased with what I got. They didn't ask for them though.

Has anyone received their postcard? I still have not.

I haven't either

I was happy with my first quarter grades, but I had no idea I could send them in.. my counselor never tells me anything...

I don't think sending in quarter grades would make any difference, unless they contacted you asking specifically for them.

I'm done with school actually. The last school exam I took was in mid-September I think. So my school sent that result in, which given that our school grades everyone harshly, doesn't really look good.

And no postcards...Is US to international mail slow or is it just Williams is really in the middle of nowhere? 'Cuz the letters from the UK schools that I applied to takes on average 6 days to arrive. We're almost a month from 10th Nov already.

i havent recieved mine either!!
they said our postcards will be arriving shortly since the end of november =]

I was accepted through Questbridge, and I faxed my quarter grades in. They don't require them though, I asked.

Does anyone know if they post the decisions online on that little account they e-mailed us?
