^Absolutely not.
They have an idiot of a coach in Okada, who will shamelessly put d-men in the wrong corners. Also, for some reason, he fails to utilize Morimoto who is without a doubt their best striker. Midfield is strong, but you can count on Okada making a stupid sub at a critical time to screw everything over.

^It’s scary you know this much about Japan’s MNT…hahahah

I think Japan could get a draw tomorrow. I predict:

Netherlands 3 - Denmark 1
Japan 0 - Cameroon 0
Italy 1 - Paraguay 0

^ im japanese. is that good enough for you? lol

^Ohhh…of Japanese descent or from Japan? Good luck in tomorrow’s game. Call me racist but I’ll be rooting for you guys tomorrow. I call it not racist, but rooting for the “dawg”.

v - Okay, gotcha. Well once again, good luck. Tough as balls group for you guys.

Japanese national, moved to America when I was 5. lol thanks. but I’m not expecting the best

I think that Japan will win.

I’m hoping that Italy wins as well.

^its a matter of whether they can shut down eto’o effectively.

italy will win despite the fact that their team is filled with old hags

Looks like I may be the only one here who thinks Cameroon will win

^thats a shame haha. you guys have a tough tough group in nigeria and argentina, good luck with that. it must be nice not to have a mediocre team and coach though.

im expecting a cameroon 2-1 or 1-0 win.

I predicted 2-1 Cameroon, but probably wrong.

The experience associated with the older players hasn’t been too beneficial in terms of their game outcomes.

i beg to differ, Klose was a monster today against Australia.

^Australia is the second oldest team in the World Cup this year. That statement was in relevance to them.

i wouldnt really count that as experience, especially when Australia plays a maximum of 4 games in the WC every run.

I suppose that’s somewhat valid. In general though, players who have played in previous World Cups are perceived more preferably because they have that “experience,” as opposed to those who are playing in it for the first time.

I want to burn every freaking vuvuzela in the world.

Lol, they will probably be banned soon.

You guys saw Robbie Findley in England/USA right? That was his first World Cup match and he looked absolutely star struck out there. I’m pretty sure the whistle was blown, he saw Wayne Rooney, and just stood there in amazement, because he was pretty close to useless. (Thus the reason I’d rather see Edson Buddle starting in his place or Dempsey move up to forward and Stu Holden at mid). But I think experience does count somewhat.

Also - I hope you guys got up for Netherlands/Denmark. I’m expecting some goals to be scored by the Netherlands, but not looking good 1/6 into the game.

japan’s f—ed already, Okada didnt start nakamura or morimoto

Germany is gonna kick ass
