That should be a doozie/doozy/doosy/doosie…****.

I can’t wait for both Portugal/Cd’I and Brazil/North Korea…I can just feel my human rights diminishing as I just think about the 2nd game listed/3rd of the day.

cameroon better not eff up next time, lol

This Slovakia/New Zealand game has been pretty entertaining…lots of attacking + corners.

Wow, I’m surprised that New Zealand tied the game.

There does not seem to be a dominant team other than Germany so far. The Netherlands and South Korea also looked ok. Portugal vs Ivory Coast should be interesting. Brazil vs North Korea should be a slaughter!

As always, France is my favorite team, even if Henry is a disgrace and the team does not necessarily deserve to be at the World Cup. Even then, with France struggling to score, I don’t see them advancing to the next stage.

Hehe! I do not recall making any predictions dubstep. I will reserve my opinion until the final 16 teams remain standing. Then will I make my prediction. This said, I don’t think the Kiwis are likely to make it all the way.

I think you’ll see Brazil win in a likely manner to Germany - 4-0.

^Well look who they’re playing. lol. I can’t predict games for ****… :

Actually, if Brazil wins with less than a 5 goal margin, I would be worried!

^Cause that means anything to me…

Portugal didn’t do too well.

If Drogba played Ivory Coast would have stolen that game.

This is going to be a hell of a tournament at this rate. All the teams are so equal (except Germany). The good teams suck, the bad teams are playing well. Should make for an exciting 3rd-game-week of group play.

Can you believe: DPRK is a 20:1 to win this game vs. Brazil. You bet $1, you win $20.
Brazil is 1:16. You bet $16, you win $1. Yet DPRK is playing them hard and has a fair chance of winning with a fluke goal.

Ivory Coast did very well even without Drogba. They should have won that game.

DPRK might surprise some people. They’re a relatively mysterious team. I haven’t watched them play much, but I don’t anyone expects them to leave the group stages.

Agreed. Argentina was good as well. Can’t wait to see Spain

No team has shown to be a clear cut winner at this stage. There have been several contenders, but not clear cut winner.

In the first half, Brazil’s offense hasn’t been as coordinated as one would expect, and DPRK’s defense has been superb.

Boring half. It’s strategy, but what these weak teams are doing are loading up the box vs. strong teams to try and get 0-0 draws. Makes for very boring games b/c it’s basically the strong team attemping to penetrate the box but failing and that just repeats for 90 minutes.

I referred early that it should be a hell of a tournament, and that’s still true. It’s these first games which suck and I think some of the 2nd games will suck, but in the 3rd games (and for some weak teams the 2nd), they will start making moves and taking risks to get the first goal on stronger opponents. Should be more scoring then. That’s my theory anyway.

I’m surprised that it took Brazil 55 minutes to score.

amazing goal by Maicon…
