Oh God Why? Transferring to UW-Madison

Hey CC

So I am currently attending UW-Platteville(freshman), and applied to transfer to UW-Madison fall 2013. I was wondering if CC could weigh in on my chances of being accepted. So these are my stats,

College
4.0 GPA 16credits
tutoring math spring semester
German Club member
letter of recommendation

High school
~3.55GPA
NHS Member
Varsity track and basketball and football
2 years class secretary

Here's the Oh God Why part..... They dont require a ACT score for transfers (i didnt know) I sent in my 24 ACT... o.O will this mess up my chances?

Bump. Any input is welcome.

I don’t think it will weigh in too much since they’re not required. With a 4.0, you seem more than qualified for Madison. Even thought your ACT is weak, your high school stats would have made you a competitive applicant as a senior. Remember that since your applying as a sophomore transfer, they will use both your high school and college stats. If it was me, I would continue to keep your grades up for another semester/two semester, then apply to even better schools as a junior transfer. The fact that your already starting on a good foot will only make that easier.
