Physics regular or Anatomy? And I plan to take Pre-med in college...sigh I dunno...i'm going to be a junior next year and I cant' screw this up

If you're going Pre-med, you should probably take Anatomy.

High School Anatomy means nothing for med school admissions. It looks like a light weight science course compared to physics. AdComs will wonder why you didn't take Physics in High School. You goal now is to get into the best undergraduate possible to ensure that you have a good shot at medical school.

so why don't you take physics senior year

i'm taking AP physics senior year

anndd??? is there a problem if you don't take normal physics before that...that's the way it works in my school...you don't take the honors class and then take the AP version....you have to try out for the AP version and then if you make it you can take it....if you don't qualify then it's down to honors for you

if you're taking AP physics senior year, it might be nice to have a foundation from academic physics to help you out. but if anatomy is where your interests lie, go for it (by the way, at my school honors anatomy is ridiculously hard..the valedictorian of my class has a B in it right now..).

dvlfnfv5, I never said there was a problem with taking regular physics before AP physics

Physics. For any science related major, especially pre-meds, adcoms have said over and over that you MUST have the three core sciences (bio, chem, and physics) done before you graduate.

If you love anatomy that much, take it senior year instead of AP Physics.

I suggest you take physics, since it's very important for a science related major.
