I have read a ton of articles about colleges, especially prep scholars
I’m a junior currently and I’m extremely nervous now
I am planning to take sat soon, so in your thoughts what do you think are good scores for places like Stony brook, NYU, Cooper Union,
Oh man…
You can google this type of information
Google the common dataset for each school. It will give you the 25th and 75th percentile SAT scores for enrolled students. Aim for the 50th or higher for the best chances.
Thanks, I’ll look into it
Do you know what Cooper or NYU likes in an applicant? I’m a junior, but I’m still worried
Keep up your grades and do really well on SAT or ACT. Also take a rigorous course load junior and senior year.
Yes, search for “Common Data Set” and the school names.
Kay thanks all of you!!!
NYU has the holistic approach for applicants, so they view all parts of your application. Make sure to have strong ECs and test scores, as well as a good essay because my understanding is that they weigh your personal statement heavily in the admissions process. What major/school are you looking into at NYU? In general their ACT scores range from 29-32, but the stern school of business will have much higher and more competitive test scores, if that’s what you’re considering.
