Oh mighty CC gods, please estimate my chances

Chapel Hill, yes, and is it really that super competitive for OOS?

GPA and scores look good, but just a warning: the easiest way to get rejected is to not focus on your major and do a bunch of random things. For example, if you were to major in medicine, you might want an application like this: medical internships, National Youth Leadership Forum on medicine, Science Club, etc. You want to show passion for what you’re studying, not just trying to stuff your resume with lots of clubs and leadership positions. (Not saying you’re not passionate about everything; I bet you are, just make sure to show it on your app and you have a good chance!)
If anyone chances me, I’ll chance back:

Thanks and good luck!

YES, UNC OOS is like Princeton or Harvard really. Penn State would be a nice safety, I would think

Anyone else want to help me out? Please chance on all schools!

UNC is not a safety. I think you have a decent chance, but if you didn’t know, its NC law that they must accept 82% of applicants in-state. So do the math… its pretty competitive for OOS. (I live in NJ and its my top choice… I would know… I have no chance lol). But anyway you have good stats and have a good shot at most of those schools.

Alright, last bump before I allow the vagaries of fate to eventually consign this thread to its rightful place in the murky depths of this forum. Please give chances on ALL schools, not just UNC (not sure how that trend started…)
