"Oh, you listen to THAT?"

^^exactly!! Its so stupid and ignorant. And the worst part is, it’s other black people who define what social and academic parameters we are supposed to abide by. It totally throws dirt on everything MLK and others fought for (and are still fighting for in some areas).I like rap too (Common, the Roots, Black Star, old Kanye, etc.), and my Ipod is actually 65-70% rap music, just not the garbage you hear on the radio. And I like other things too. I dont see whats so wrong with that.

Because of this I never let anyone listen to my Ipod. They think I’m just being stingy, but I dont care because I dont feel like suffering through the interrogation anymore.

I listen to 60’s, 70’s, 80’s and some 90’s rock… People go nuts when they find that out since 1: I’m a female and 2: I’m puerto rican :p

AHHHH Coldplay FTW!!! I love the Scientist and Fix you!!!

Strawberry Swing ftw!

Korean rap, Japanese metal, American soul, Swedish dance, Italian aria, and a few more.

My ipod has music in 14 languages. I can only understand two of them. it isn’t lyrics, but the music that I care about. Theres always that emotion poured in by artists no matter what genre or country it is.

Rap rap rap rap rap #1

…I have a wide range of music preference.
YAY COLDPLAY FTW! Every Teardrop is a Waterfall
I also like Blondfire, 4Minute, GACKT, Tokio Hotel, Train, 2NE1, 30 Seconds to Mars, Owl City, Death Cab For Cutie, Adele, Regina Spektor, Nancy Ajram, Seabird, John Lennon and Switchfoot. And many others. I’m a music junkie :D
