Hello all, I was just accepted into the Ohio State Scholars Program, and now have to embark on the tedious journey of ranking which programs I want to be a part of. I plan on majoring in Biomedical Engineering, and possibly following the Pre-med or pre-PA track. This being said I am also extremely into service and environmentalism which made the green engineering and humanitarian engineering programs stand out, however, I know myself, and I know that the housing accommodations that go along with those programs would just be too much for me. This leaves biological sciences and health sciences. It seems as though biological sciences offers l’impression concrete opportunities whereas health sciences offers more presentations on certain jobs. Is this true? Any input on either scholars program would be much appreciated. Thank you!
After getting rejected from honors, OSU offered me a place in scholars. I honestly didn’t know anything about it and just kind of ranked them based on what sounded the most fun. I got into the Sports and Movement one with an intended major of health sciences. I can’t really answer this question but after reading about it the program sounds enticing. I would also be interested in hearing what other people’s input on scholars is.
