Is anyone else having problems deciding between Health Scholars and Biological Sciences? I’m curious to see what other people may think, because I’m completely torn between the two

HSS has the nice housing, and seems morelaid back, but Bio has some awesome research opportunities.

I was, but I chose health. I know that my focus is in the health field, so choosing health made more sense for me. If you don’t know specifically what you want to focus on, it is a hard choice!

Does anyone know the likelihood that you receive your first preference, specifically a high demand one like Health Sciences? Also when do notifications of actual acceptance into your preferred preference go out?

The likelihood of getting onto health or bioscience is apparently somewhat small. At scholars day the health science advisor told us she expects 800+ applications and will accept no more than 150

We heard the same thing during the recent Bio Sci presentation during SD at OSU. Many applications and few slots. So it looks like 2nd or 3rd choice are more realistic.
