<p>I am an international student and have gotten into ohio state and suny at buffalo for the spring 2015 session. Currently I am in a very confused position. I cannot decide between the two schools. I will be majoring in civil engineering (under-grad). I know Ohio state is very well recognized in the states and probably has a better reputation then Buffalo. However I have also heard that Buffalo has a solid engineering school and well reputed in the new york state. I have researched a lot about the civil engineering departments of both schools. Surprisingly, the QS rankings have ranked buffalo ahead then Ohio state. </p>
<p>Being an international student, Costs also matter a lot to me. Ohio State's cost of attendance would be around 47k per year where as buffalo's would be 38k per year (9k difference). My parents do not mind spending the extra 9k on ohio state but 9k is a huge amount and I wanna know if spending it is worth it. </p>
<p>Furthermore, I plan on getting an MBA degree from top rated grad schools in the future like UCLA, NYU stern, Standford, harvard. So which school would probably help me reach my desired Grad school.
