I'm trying to figure out what college would be the better choice for me. I don't like to party, and Ohio being a top party school deters me from wanting to go there. When I apply for a job, I don't want to be discriminated against because I went to a party school. On the other hand, Ohio State has a really, really big campus and I don't want to feel overwhelmed my first year at college. I know I will meet people who don't party, but I don't want it to be a distraction to my studies.

How did you get to the conclusion that students at State don’t party?

Oh please… LOL

That won’t happen.

Don’t let the “party school” image mislead you about any school. That concern is over-blown and should not matter to those in the more challenging majors…

Who cares if students in easier majors in buildings across the campus have time to party? How does that affect you? If you’re in a challenging major, your classmates are going to be more serious-minded like you are.

Virtually every big school that is big into football is a party school. Do you really think employers are thinking…gee, I’m not going to hire someone from Ohio, OSU, Penn St, UFlorida, UMich, UCLA, USC, etc because they’re big football party schools?
