Which residence hall is the best at Ohio University?

“Best” depends on what you are looking for: Quiet? Substance-free? Honors? 24-hour party? Single? Double? Air conditioning? New facilities? The “mod” structure? Co-ed? …and on and on…

My son was in Hoover, in a mod arrangement (3 halls off a central common room) with a total of 18 people (12 girls and 6 guys - 6 people per hall). He had an air-conditioned single, and many of his friends for his time at OU came from that mod. But… the facilities were old, the windows stuck closed, and he had lots of ants. Even so, I think he would definitely have chosen that one again.

There are newer facilities and I think you have a wide choice. For the sake of your own sanity, you might want to avoid the party dorms. Another consideration is what department you’ll be spending the most time in and find the closest Green.

Im just looking for a clean but social residence hall.
