Ok, am I in a big problem?

Last May I applied to Ohio state as a transfer. In June I got accepted but by then I decided that since some of my credits might not transfer over and the cost was more than I could handle I decided to stay at my school. A couple of weeks after my acceptance came, the letter came where I had to pick whether I was going to attend or not. Initially I put it away and said i'll send it in later. Unfourtunatly with work and everything over the summer I forgot to send it in. Now I just got an email from OSU that said welcome to the new school year and it reminded me I never sent in the card that said I wasnt going. I never sent in the deposit though, I also never signed up for classes or went to orientation or anything. Should I give them a call and tell them im not attending or what?

Sure, just to get it off your mind.

Well as long as you didn't withdraw from you current school, it doesn't seem like a big deal. But there really isn't any point in waiting to do these kinds of things. Sometimes it can result in very serious problems.

If you never sent in your deposit, then, technically, I would think your not enrolled. I would call or email them to take you off their list ASAP!
