i'm thinking and feeling exactly the same edison!

To I got my NHS letter asking me to re-apply, I took that damn piece of **** and burned it straight to hell.

yes it sucks. Life goes on. Be strong and apply to other places and then rub your success in Columbia's face.

I forgot to mention how I'm not going to wear my columbia sweatshirt anymore out of protest. Who cares if it was warm, that thing doesn't deserve to be near me anymore. GRRRRRR!!!!!

I feel the same way man.
I opened my mail account licking my lips, the shock of the mail still shakes me.
guess there are better places for you, me and our clan.

yeah, its best not to get so crushed by the decision...otherwise, we just aren't going to even have the slightest bit of hope for the regular decisions. just think, we all be successful. my teacher was telling us of someone who graduated from rutgers, the nj state school, and is now making close to 100 grand a year. his friend who graduated from Yale, however, is only making a mere 35 grand a year. It all depends on how hard we work. We can do it! Columbia should be kicking themselves for not choosing us.

later guys

Do you guys know the breakdown of what percent were deferred, accepted, etc?

"Do you guys know the breakdown of what percent were deferred, accepted, etc?"

On Collegeconfidential or nation-wide?

For nation/world-wide, it's not released yet.

But for collegeconfidential it's "KIND OF" like this:
Columbia College (Estimate): Maybe 5 Out of 30 (Actual Posters)
SEAS (Estimate): Maybe 6 Out Of 14

Refered to the thread "how many EDers are here" a couple of days ago and compare with decisions, you'll figure it out.

I've heard about 1:5 for columbia acceptances on CC
so I trust delfire's estimate
