I haven't been asked to send the grades yet, but do you think I'll look better if I'm proactive and send my grades?

I earned 3 A's and 3 B's this semester (B's were in AP's).

Suggestions?

If it's an improvement over what you had before, I would send. If not, you might consider only sending if/when asked. Would be up to personal preference, though.

I had straight A's last year, but my course load his a little heavier this year.

Decisions, decisions...

Ew, why would you send declining grades? Plus I don't think the admissions office would regard extra documents as proactive...tedious is more like it.

They already know about your heavier courseload from your application. If asked, send. If not, don't. At least that's what I'm doing (I'm in a similar situation.)

From what I hear, USC asks almost everyone for their mid-year reports unless they are a scholarship candidate. I suppose I'll just wait for their request. Thanks for the help everyone! If anyone else has any suggestions please feel free to post.

I agree- if you are hesitant to send, wait until they ask. But if they do ask, (and yes, they seem to ask most everyone) send them in right away because your application will be considered incomplete until you do.
