Okay. Appeal ideas. Advice is appreciated.

My situation:

Transfer student that applied to a university for their film program.
I have a low GPA and my grades are okay. (no humility here, I'm serious!)
My essays and other material were all solid, but I was still rejected.

I'm going to appeal because this is my dream school and nothing else will do. I'm persistent.

Any advice on what I can put in my appeal letter? What on Earth could I do to convince them? They know that I want them, but how do I make them want me? What can I say that will make them think "This guy can offer a lot to our school, and the film industry?"

All I ask is for serious advice, and for nothing too broad. Many thanks. :-)

transfer decisions aren’t going to be overturned by appeal. They have X number of spots, they may Y offers. They probably kept 1 or 2 additional people in case of people declining the offer. But for you, you were outright rejected.

It’s time to move on.

If you’re talking about transferring in for this coming year its entirely too late for all of that anyway.
