Okay. SO I REALLYYYYY need some help now!!

Hey all

So, I took my SAT I for the second time yesterday, and I am anticipating a nice score. ;)

Anyways, what do I do now? It's almost the time to start sending applications to colleges.

I'm still not done with my TOEFL (it's on Nov 12).

Also, scholarships are worrying me. I have my list of colleges with me, which has about ~15 colleges, but I'll be applying to 7-8.

Please guide me about the application procedure, and scholarship details for international students.

Thanks

College applications: go to the websites for the schools you’re applying to and read about their requirements. If they are a CA school, register and start filling in the CA; you can find help on the CA subforum.

Scholarships: read threads and do Searches on the FA & Scholarship forum as well as the Intl. Students forum.

Your questions are very general, schools and scholarships vary in their requirements. It would be helpful for you to do some research on your schools and scholarships and come back with more specific questions.

One more thing: Collegeboard provides 4 free score reports sent, but that need to be ordered within the next week. If I send the free score reports to 4 colleges, and send the applications to colleges later (say a month after) will there be any problem?

If you attend an english language HS, I don’t think you need to take TOEFL. Double check on that.

Oh yes, I checked that and I do need to take the TOEFL to get into any college in my list in the US or Canada.

Anyways, back to my question:

**One more thing: Collegeboard provides 4 free score reports sent, but that need to be ordered within the next week. If I send the free score reports to 4 colleges, and send the applications to colleges later (say a month after) will there be any problem? **

No, there is no problem. Score reports (or any other part of the application) can be sent before the application is submitted.

@entomom:

Thanks for the answer!!

Will bump if I have more doubt.
