Okay.. This is Getting Ridiculous

<p>I was talking with a fellow CCer from the GU Board and she showed me this..</p>

<p>7,600 spots for 40,000+ applications? That's an AUTOMATIC 15% acceptance rate.. for a Cal State.. </p>

<p>Awkward.. weird.. I knew it was popular but not THIS popular!</p>

<p>Accept rate will probably be more like 40%. 7600 is the number they want to enroll.</p>

<p>Tlkatan, Don't feel bad, I made the same mistake last year myself. In truth, SDSU accepted around 16,000 out of 40,000 applicants last year to get that freshman class of 7600. While SDSU has become tougher to get into in recent years, however, the stats of their accepted students really haven't changed all that much. It's still a good bet if you have over a 3.5 GPA and SATs in the 1200's.</p>
