"Old" Real SAT Test books

Sorry if this is a dumb question but my older son took the SAT in 2004 and my younger son will take it in March. Should he study from the 'old" real SAT books or has to test changed so much with the "New" SAT? Thanks.

Also, any one familiar with the Testtakers review program?

you already posted this
and you were already answered

it never hurts to practice, but know the differences
such as no analogies, no greater than columns for math

if u can get the new book, get it
duhhhhhhh

If you're looking for practice tests, the "Official SAT Study Guide", also known here as the "blue book", has 8 full-length real practice exams. It's available from Amazon for $12. It's essential. I would recommend the official guide over the big prep company books (at least those published in '05), which were written largely based on guesswork before the actual test came out.

The new SAT has a writing section that wasn't on the old test, analogies have been dropped, and there are new math components. Books based on the old SAT are now obsolete.

just buy the book for the new test. it's worth it.

The old tests are only really worthwhile after you've run out of new SAT practice tests...
