I’m a rushee that grew up in Alabama but both of my parents are from the north. My mom is from Pennsylvania and my dad is from New York. I went to a private high school and most people who graduate from our school go to Alabama or auburn and get involved in the greek life. I went to a military school sophomore year so I didn’t meet a ton of the upper classmen. How should I go about rushing an Old Row fraternity? I’ve been attending rush parties and having a great time meeting all of the actives, but somehow I’m not getting invited to the Bid parties that everyone else is. I don’t have southern heritage but really want to be in an old row fraternity. Will this effect my chances or make it impossible?
