<p>I will say, with this decision, it is nice not to see D stressing about her 5 AP tests in the next couple of weeks.</p>

<p>On FB search for “Olin College Parents” and the page will come up and you can request to join. The admins have not yet accepted my request.</p>
<p>Carimama - Best of luck to your daughter. This is the season where many students have decided where to go because they did NOT get into MIT. She had two (and probably more) great choices.</p>
<p>Thanks, coloradomom. She did have excellent options including Caltech, Duke, Georgia Tech, WPI and more. But in the end, it was down to Olin & MIT. She plans to remain in contact with some of the great current & future students she met in the process and hopes she has an opportunity to collaborate with them in the future!</p>

<p>As you may know, each semester at Olin ends (after finals) with Expo, where every student presents original work he/she has done. The work can be from class, from a passionate pursuit, from club participation, from research, etc.</p>
