Is there anyone applying for CS major?

I WAS, not anymore… T_T

I am one of the 6 people, any question? :3

Isq921224

Did UCLA ever request you to provide the evidence of your ECs?

Isq921224,

Did you finish all your pre-reqs?

coocoocoo,
Nope, but be an honest man <3

HelloPersonC,
yes I did, and that’s very important to your application

@isq921224, congrats on being one of the six! Do you mind sharing your stats?

@coverfinal,
-3.97 GPA
-all pre-req finished by 2013 spring
-ps was ok

ECs:
-fencing club
-volunteer work in local church
-internship during summer
-several hackathons
-etc

not so impressive but no major flaw either.
btw I was transferring from an out-of-state institution as an int’l student

Ok, guys. So from what I heard, like the majority, and I mean the big manjority did not have their pre-reqs completed, like one or two missing, so many were technically not even qualified to compete. In result, ones that actually completed all the pre-reqs had below 3.7 GPA or so, so they were not competitive either. So I say if you’ll be completing all your pre-reqs before the very last semester before transferring and have a decent GPA ( about 3.7 GPA+), I say you’ll have a very good chance at getting in. Most will be scared to apply to CS after this year due the stat, so you’ll have even less people to compete with.
