I'm watching the 11:00 news, and school's closed tomorrow

Why? A SNOW DAY!!!! in OCTOBER!!!!!!!
It is soooooo weird, even though my area has had some snow about Halloween, this is the earliest snow day I have ever had. Not to mention this is one of those snow days where I know the night before and can stay up late. Now I remember why I love Buffalo!

So I don't have school tomorrow!
And people think Friady the 13th is unlucky!

i'd rather have a delayed opening tho, cuz wit a snow day i have 2 make it up sometime in april during spring break (i dont want 1 less day of vacation during a verry long vacation)

Ah I go to a private school where we aren't required to go to school a certain number of days (which is why we have a five day President's Day weekend and a 17 Day EAster break). . .I've never had that happen(extra days). even with the 7 ft snowstorm that had us out for about a week a couple of years ago . . . life is good.

And right now the trees are all frosted and it's just lightly snowing, with big huge flakes- it looks like Christmas Eve.

We had a Chemical Explosion Day last Friday. Pretty similar to a Snow Day, except for the noxious chlorine fumes, declared state of emergency and evacuation shelters.

Actually, here people get extremely worried and cancel school when the roads are icy or if there is a small chance of snow. Last time it snowed? Don't remember.

Yay gas days! We had an oil spill day when I was in middle school. Oh, and you can't forget all of the "bomb threat" days. They stopped cancelling school after a few of those. Then, we stopped getting bomb threats...

It was suppose to snow for our football game tonight...but they changed the forecast. Two years ago at the same game (Week 7, same place) we were playing in the remnants of a hurricane...now a blizzard. I just love Western Pennsylvania.
