Yale SCEA - reach
all the other ivies - H & Princeton definite reach, Dartmouth/Brown/Columbia reaches that are slightly more achievable, Penn & Cornell should be OK if you bring up your ACT
Emory - match
Duke - low reach
Northwestern - low reach
UF - safety
Stanford - reach

Very rigorous course load. I think you would benefit much by stressing two or three EC’s (say, swimming, math, tutoring?) You can tie in your leadership position, outside competitions too. I have a friend who had pretty good stats, and the BEST leadership/club experience but got rejected from Yale. I think her problem is that she didn’t have a strong concentration in one single area, something that she kept doing all through high school (including summers).

During my junior year, I went through the same thing. It sucked.

Yale SCEA: High Reach
all the other ivies: High Reaches
Emory: In
Duke: Low Reach/In
Northwestern: Low Reach
UF: In
Stanford: High Reach

I think your EC’s are great, and you should definitely consider taking the SAT I because your SAT II practice scores are so good. I think your ACT score is pretty good, but if you can retake it you might want to try it. Your course load looks demanding, which will go in your favor, especially because you kept such a high uw GPA, and it’s good you have such great recs. However, I think your ethnicity might hurt you, as there are a lot of Jewish/white people in college and in the Ivies these days. However, I still think you have a very decent shot, even at the Ivies, due to your amazing courseload & your ability to overcome obstacles/stress. Maybe you should mention this ability in your essays?

Chance me too? My post is: Chance a worried URM for Ivies and other Schools? I’d really appreciate your input.
Good luck and I hope you get in! You’ll be a strong candidate for any college!

stanford/ivies reaches (as they are for everyone) but i still think you have a decent shot at all of them (in most likely at the “lower” tier ivies)
