One of my old college transcript in which I completed 4 classes over 2 quarters from 10 years ago, was lost or forgotten when I applied to a major university. Possibly due to the fact that I was frantically requesting multiple transcript from the clearing house database to multiple schools. I was accepted regardless. It should be known that I had attended and submitted 3 other schools and their transcripts upon my transfer.
Anyways, i’m about to graduate with my bachelors and plan on applying to the professional school associated with my university and I plan on submitting ALL transcripts, as I am required to do so through an application service. Will the professional school see that the missing transcript was not present on my collective undergraduate degree transcript from the undergraduate school?
And if they do, what impact would this have? Would they report this to the undergraduate school offices? Anyone else been in the same or similar situation?
I’m fairly confident that if I keep my head low, i’ll graduate without causing any waves, but again, my worry is if the graduate school would notice, and I may be grilled over that matter come interviews. I do feel guilty (and stupid) about the whole thing and afraid that if I do disclose the transcript with my school, that I may have my degree revoked with just two quarters left to graduate, as well whatever ramifications come along with that.
Keep my head down, graduate and apply to grad school hoping that no one takes notice?
or
Disclose the transcripts and play so dumb that they wonder how I even had the ability to apply in the first place? As well face the possible consequences.
Further background: Major university (like University of etc), no debts from omitted school, the omitted transcripts credits grades were actually some of my best (2.9, so the motive for omission isn’t really there, I submitted a transcript that had a cGPA of 1.7), I receive fafsa, and have not had to pay a dime for my education. I’m also an honors student nowadays.
