Omitting transcripts.

I’m applying as a freshman to a lot of colleges this fall. Last summer i attended summer sessions at UCLA but did terrible and ended up failing my classes. I believe attaching an official transcript of this would severely lower my chances. Do you think it will be okay to select no where it says “have you attended any college courses during high school?” ?

There is a clearing house where any school can look up your transcripts: http://www.studentclearinghouse.org

If purposely omit these grades, you could be rescinded if accepted or if you eventually attend and graduate, you could lose your degree. Not worth it.

Attempting to hid that information would be unethical and might get you into trouble. Don’t do it.

Nope. You can’t neglect to send that transcript.

And for the rest of your life when ever you apply for admission to a degree program at an accredited college or university in the US, or for a job that requires all of your college transcripts, you will have to send an official copy of this old, bad transcript. Thems the rules. Period.

The good news is that the older this old bad transcript gets to be, the less it will matter. You will still have to send it, but no one will much care at all what is on it.
