On applying early: Stanford and...

Where else can I apply early to along with Stanford? I know Boston College, UVA, Umichigan, I all could apply to, but is there anything else? Specifically, I would really like to apply to Case Western and Uchicago, but I am struggling to find a scholarship or program that would require me to apply early (as per stanfords ea policy that you can only apply to private schools early if the offer special scholarships or programs to only early applicants). Thanks!

I believe Gerogia Tech has an early deadline of 10/15 for scholarships.

USC also has an early deadline for scholarship applicants and IIRC it’s within the rules to apply for that and also Stanford EA.

To clarify: you think you can apply REA to Stanford and ED Boston College because BC only considers applicants in the early pool for Presidential Scholarships? I didn’t read the rules that way, but I am new at this!

Georgia Tech is allowed b/c it’s EA and public.

REA means you’re not allowed to apply to other private colleges EA or ED. Are CW or Chicago public or private? (Chgo has no EA)

You clearly are intent on flouting the spirit of the early notification that Stanford grants EA applicants.

“Exceptions
:black_medium_small_square:The student may apply to any college/university with early deadlines for scholarships or special academic programs as long as the decision is non-binding.”

This means you’re not allowed to apply to BC’s ED program either.

Maybe you should get your priorities in clearer focus? You clearly want your cake and to eat it too. Right now, I think schools may question your issues of character – a sure-fire killer for competitive admissions.
