the singles in those places are crappy. i stayed in summit single for a summer program once and a double is much preferred. the singles are the size of a closet, paper thin walls, and you still have to share a bathroom with 4 people.

on a side note i was looking at the housing plans and there are a lot of "singles" (not the plaza ones) in places. first thought would be they're for RAs, but the RAs have their own designated singles. so its curious.

really? i looked at the plans too and saw very few. like, a couple random (but unfortunately male) ones in sunset, and a few in hitch/saxon... none in the plazas. then again i didn't look at the res halls at all.
ok so de neve double > hedrick single... sigh i really want a single...

liyana...it's the second day. i don't think there's a mad rush to get singles

as for summit, it's pretty much the same as in RT or RV actually. all of the non-RA singles (which are just basically doubles rooms for one person) are about the same size (small) and quality (decent).

yeah i was referring to hitch and saxon more.. these random doubles and they arent all RA b/c theres only 5 RAs in hitch! disabilities probably..

yea im living in a triple (plus i dont get along with one of them) so if i dont get a single or a double, i will consider living elsewhere too. for the suite i think you can sign up all four ppl.

lol maybe it's just 'cuz i'm an only child and really love having my own room that i would think singles would be popular.
but if everyone else wants to live in doubles instead... be my guest! better for me xD

singles can be pretty hard to get if you have a late sign up time. a lot are taken by athletes. and whats left are usually taken by a large group of friends (ie someone signs up all 10 rooms).
