<p>Yes, my daugter just got her appeal to UCI granted- I think it was successful because she emailed every professor in the department she wanted to attend and asked them to support her appeal petition. She emailed over 20 professors, but all it took was one. Good Luck to you.</p>

<p>i dont see why they cant let people with appeals in. I mean they accept like 21 thousand people and only like 4-5k actually end up enrolling at the school. whats the big deal??</p>

<p>Hey I have a question about housing. I was reading and it says we are only guaranteed housing unless we send our SIR and housing statement on May 1st. so what if we receive are granted appeal after may 1st. what happens.</p>

<p>If you're granted an appeal after May 1st I'm sure you'll get housing. They guarantee it for two years so I don't see how you wouldn't get housing even if it was after the deadline.</p>

<p>On-campus housing for applicants admitted after May 1 (freshmen) or June 1 (transfers) is not guaranteed, and on-campus housing is not guaranteed for applicants whose appeals to cancellation may be granted.</p>

<p>i was worried and looked and found this on the website. i was reading the UCI Comprehensive Review and Information on Appeals..</p>
