I moved at the beginning of this school year from a small town [that I didn't enjoy] to a big city I love, it's been a challenge. But I plan to include that in my college essay and explain how my life has changed, in a positive way. I'm a sophomore. I realize it's hard to tell at this point, but I just want to know if I'm on the right track. Freshman year I didn't take any honors or ap classes. So far this year I haven't either. However, come second semester I plan to take a half semester of an honors science. Originally before I found out I was going to be moving, I thought I would start the honors and ap curriculum in sophomore year. This year I felt as if it was more important to do really well in my basic classes, getting settled in, prep for the sats/acts, and get aquatinted with some new people. I'm actually really happy with my decision. Next year I plan to start with AP and honor courses. By the end of high school I want to have 7 honors classes and 4 ap classes. Is this enough for NYU? On top of it, by the time I graduate I will have 3 years of a foreign language. Here are my grades:

Freshman: 3.71
[so far] Sophomore: 4.0

I plan to keep my 4.0 through high school. I will have taken care of physics and pre-calculus by the time I graduate, making it 5 years of math (I took pre-algebra in freshman year. I think it's important colleges see I wanted to make up for that). I want to go to med-school. My extracurriculars:

Figure skating, lacrosse, tennis, golf, spanish club, usfsa figure skating club, and my advisor said next year I would qualify for national honors society. Also, I might be taking sewing classes outside of school to support my interest in fashion. I also have a fashion blog that I've been publishing for over 2 years. I've been offered a fashion internship for summer of sophomore year, full junior year, and full senior year. In freshman year I volunteered at a hospital and is currently awaiting a reply from a few hospitals I applied to, for this year. I have kept the records for the hours. I've contacted all sources to continue these activities in my new city.

Will the 7 honors and 4 AP courses hurt me when applying to nyu? Especially if I do great in the classes? How many should I have? Will only having 3 years of foreign language hurt me? Basically I want to know if I'm on the right track to nyu and if there is anything I can improve on?? (other than what I've already mentioned) As far as what nyu school, it's whichever I qualify for.

Thank you for your time and replies.
