On the track to a Top 10?

Ok. I am a high school freshman as of 6 days ago. I recently have come to the realization that I am not practically guaranteed admission to MIT or CalTech just because I perform the best at my non-competitive school. In fact, I am going to have to really step things up...and the odds are still low. Naturally, this scares the crap out me, and I am probably going to develop an ulcer or something if I don't relax. So I'm just going to try to get this out of my system, so I can spend more time self-studying AP psych and reading books, and less time browsing CC and college websites.

Expected stats

I would be absolutely maxing out the courses offered at my school. Also, I plan to self-study several AP's including: psychology, statistics, biology, calculus BC, and maybe a physics.
Honors/Awards- Eagle Scout, Black Belt, rank=1/~150, Intel?, recognition for BIG Eagle project
EC-BoyScouts, Order of the Arrow, Mu Alpha Theta, NHS
Sports-cross country (scholarship?)
Work-Amazon home business, pet sitting, internship (engineering??)
Volunteering-250+ hours at local VA hospital, hundreds through service projects

Prospective Major: nuclear engineering, through grad school (also, what would be my chances of grad school if I left after undergrad for marines?

If I do this, how I look to: Ivies, MIT, CalTech, Stanford, UF, UM Ann Harbour, UW Madison??
Also, I'll have about 60 college credits, so will I have to apply transfer, and will that hurt my chances?? I don't really mind retaking them, as long as I get into a Top 10 engineering...
Thank you so much!!

I apologize about posting potential classes and activities 4 years from now…just posting this has helped me relax a bit. Also, I am open to suggestions

Projected class rank is pretty low for any ivy so you’ll want to work on that. Make sure you take the most rigorous course load and work on leadership and whatnot. I don’t see MIT, but work on everything and you should have your way to a good school.

Oops. I am ranked #1. The 158 is my schools ranking in Florida…

^ Lol, that would make quite a bit of difference.

Anyway, don’t worry about this stuff right now. You have three years 'til you need to start developing ulcers. Just enjoy high school while you still can haha.

Get it right. It’s Ann Arbor. No Harbors in the middle of Michigan.

Shameless plug for the guide I just wrote: http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/what-my-chances/1163088-hey-you-yeah-you-ive-answered-bunch-your-chance-thread-questions.html

I’m pretty much talking right to somebody in your position.
