Once accepted to UPenn, is it possible to chance schools?

Sorry if this is already somewhere on CC.
Title is fairly explanatory; I’m just about to apply to SAS but having read more about Wharton, I would definitely be a much, much better fit. The only reason why I’m hesitant just to throw off an application there is becasue I’ve never taken an econ course (although I’ve studied on it independently), and have no Math I or II subject tests. So, if one where to be accepted, does anyone know whether it would be possible to change schools?

You can apply to transfer to Wharton after the first year. Search Wharton transfer for more information.

@LucasKovacs :

You should apply directly to the school you want to attend. Although it is technically possible to make an internal transfer, you are not guaranteed. You don’t want to spend four years at CAS if Wharton was truly what you wanted.

@LucasKovacs :

  1. Economics class is not required for Wharton admission. Many students were accepted without it.
  2. Math II SAT is recommended, but not required. If you can prove that you are strong in math in other way, for example classes, EC etc.

You should directly apply to Wharton if it is really your dream school. There is no guarantee that your future transfer will be successful.
