So I'm currently in big danger of falling to a D in AP Chemistry in my last semester of school, and since there are no explicit instructions on the UCB terms of admission on what to do in this situation. I'm also wondering if the chances of a rescinded admission are high. I have mostly As this semester and maybe one B in the rest of my classes, so I will definitely be above the 3.0 unweighted GPA requirement, and during the first semester I had a B in the AP Chemistry class.

I think you will be fine. The requirements didn’t explicitly ask that you pass all your classes correct? It just said an uGPA of 3.0 or better?

One of the requirements is that I can’t get anywhere below a C in any course.

Oh… then, I recommend you email the undergraduate office. They usually really don’t care if you have a valid reason. Try searching for past threads regarding this issue. I’m sure you could dig up some success stories and such.

Last year my boss at work’s daughter was heading towards a D in Calc BC. They called the admissions office and, according to him, they told him if she got a D she would be rescinded. So they got a tutor and did everything possible to get the grade up to a C. Because they were afraid of being rescinded they double deposited at UCI (who evidently didn’t have a problem with the D). In the end she got a C and all was well.
