Any helpful comments would be greatly appreciated, thank you!

I think that you can get into most if not all of these schools as long as you slightly increase your ACT. A 27 and 4.53 don't really match that well. If you got a 28 or even a 29, it would significantly boost your application. Chance me plz!

oohh.. thanks for chancing on my board, but unfortunately I have no idea about the admissions on the schools you are applying to. Sorry, but good luck!

PS: I would say you stand a decent chance everywhere you've listed with an exception of UF. You're a shoo-in at FSU and American, that's all I really know for sure.

ok yeah I am actually applying to some way reach schools (i.e. Brown, Hopkins, William and Mary but seeing as I know my chances are slim I didn't feel the need to ask haha)
But thanks!

Hey, you're looking at a lot of colleges in New York! Cool beans -- I live a half an hour from Union. Beware, though, they have this habit of being really stingy with awarding college credit for high school classes; I'm not sure about their AP policy, though.

Going off of your unweighted GPA...

SUNY Binghamton: Mid-reach
SUNY New Paltz: In
UF (double legacy, in state): Should be in with the double legacy; probably mid-reach
FSU (instate): Low reach
Gettysburg College: Match
Tulane: Match
Union College, NY (with interview): Match

you look like you should get in to those schools you have good ECs and it seems like you have an academic purpose, something in social sciences I presume, which looks good.
