One Last Time: Chance Me Please

I wasn't expecting to do this, but I asked a few more questions about admissions, and my profile seemed a bit different, possibly stronger. Anyway, I would've posted an updated profile on one of my older threads, but the first is buried somewhere, and the second turned into a chance thread.

So, here is my profile. I'd greatly appreciate it if you guys could tell me my strong points and rate my schools (you know, the usual safety, match, reach, and whatever). (For Columbia and UPenn, please chance me individually for SEAS and college (of arts and sciences). I'd ask this for all schools, but it doesn't matter for the other.)

Recommendations:

[quote]
1. AP US History teacher, he writes amazing recommendations, is a Columbia grad, I expect this to be amazing as my friend who got in to Dartmouth said this rec was amazing, and I turned my grade around right at midterms so he knows I work hard
2. AP Chemistry teacher, to cover the science part and show my interests
3. Yearbook teacher, she knows me very well, she'll give a nice portrait

Essays will be good by my standards, but I'm a great writer, or so I've been told. I hate to be pompous and such.

i think everything except UPenn and Columbia is a lock for you, but you probably still have as good a chance as anyone to get in. Good luck!

Your GPA seems low, but I think you still have a good shot at Columbia. I really want to make sure I'm doin my GPA calc correctly. I have a 3.41 UW and 4.22 weighted. I am guessing you didn't take all honors/AP? Thats what I did and thus my UW is low and Weighted is high. Chance me:

<a href="http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=372658%5B/url%5D">http://talk.collegeconfidential.com/showthread.php?t=372658</a></p>

Oh, and lemme know how your doin ur GPA calcs. For weighted you are just giving one point extra for H/AP correct? So an A would be a 5 and a B would be 4 for H/AP.

I indicated that I took the most rigorous curriculum I could possibly take, so I took all the Honors and APs I could take in any given year. My unweighted is where the A is a 4 and a B is a 3. For the weighted, I'm using my school's system. Why does my GPA seem low? It's dead on UPenn's average and higher than the other schools' averages. Specifically, for Columbia, I'm a little over their 3.8 average.

Anybody elese?
